The second edition of the “KNIGHTS of CHARITY, embrace the stars” gala was held at Palm Beach (Cannes) during the festival. A great success for this philanthropic event supported by the Ulyssia, Samer Halimeh and Flyeralarm foundations.
Celebrity guests
The gala, organized by philanthropist Milutin Gatsby, attracted a host of world-famous celebrities. Distinguished guests included Heidi Klum, Toni Garrn, Barbara Palvin, Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York), Robin Thicke, Andy Garcia and Isabelle Fontana. Their presence added a touch of glamour to the evening and reinforced the importance of the cause supported.
Presentation of the “Heroes of Our Time” award
The event was marked by the presentation of the “Hero of our Time” award to Mr. Nic McKinley. This prestigious award recognizes his efforts to protect children and combat human trafficking, and underscores the gala’s commitment to crucial humanitarian causes.
Guests were treated to exclusive musical performances by top artists such as Andy Garcia & The Cinesons All Stars, UB40 and Robin Thicke. In addition to performing, Andy Garcia also took on the role of Master of Ceremonies for the second year running, bringing his unique charisma to the event.

A lunchtime auction with Gisele Bündchen
One of the highlights of the evening was the auction led by Simon de Pury. Among the exclusive lots were works by painter Paul Klee, a private paddleboarding lesson with Eva Longoria, and a day of filming with Andy Garcia. Gisele Bündchen also offered two unique lots: a numbered and signed fine art photograph, and a lunch in Miami with her.
Bidders also had the opportunity to acquire one of the Qannati watches personally engraved by Éva Longoria. Other lots included a visit to Balkan monasteries and UNESCO World Heritage sites with the Duchess of York.
Also up for auction are a personal visit for two to Ferrari headquarters by Lapo Elkan and the chance to test drive a supercar; a rare oil and pencil sketch by Paul Klee; a bronze by Juan Miro; and a geometric oil painting by Devon Dejardin.
The evening concluded with a memorable party hosted by international DJs Blondish and Bones, orchestrated by Darren Dzienciol with the support of Ali Nassiri. This spectacular event raised millions of dollars, reinforcing the gala’s position as one of the world’s leading philanthropic institutions.
