Noa Argamani, 25, is captured by Hamas militiamen during a massive attack on Israel, where hostages were taken from Israelis.
The video of a young woman captured by Hamas militiamen, in front of her companion, provides an insight into the violent attacks and hostage-taking of hundreds of Israelis on October 7. More than 800 people were killed and 2,400 wounded in these attacks. On the video, the young woman’s name is Noa Argamani. She is a 25-year-old Israeli student who was present at a music festival on Friday night near Kibbutz Reim, a few kilometers from the border with the Gaza Strip.
250 people killed at rave party
Thousands of young Israelis and foreigners had been dancing until dawn at a rave party when Hamas commandos surprised them, massacring around 250 people. The party turned tragic when a thousand Hamas fighters crossed the border on Saturday morning, launching their offensive on Israel by motorcycle, pick-up truck, speedboat or motorized glider. People fled to their cars as gunfire rang out.
“They slaughtered people in cold blood”
Shocked volunteers called in to collect the bodies recounted the slaughter they witnessed on Monday. “They slaughtered people in cold blood in an absolutely inconceivable way,” testified Moti Bukjin, spokesman for Zaka, an organization specializing in first aid and the collection and identification of bodies in accordance with Jewish law. “They just went around shooting people in their cars,” he told AFP.

Sitting on the back of a motorcycle, between two men, Noa Argamani screams, begging her captors not to kill her. She reaches out to her companion. The camera rotates, and we see a young man, surrounded by Hamas men, his hands tied behind his back. Jostled by his captors, he watches helplessly as his companion is taken by force from the Gaza Strip.
“I saw Noa in the video, distraught, terrified. I can’t imagine what went through her mind, the panic that seized her, when those scumbags hold her and don’t let go,” the young woman’s brother told the Israeli channel.
Noa’s father appeals for help
In the face of despair, Noa’s father launched an appeal. “All my life, I’ve protected Noa. She’s my only child,” he said. Still on Canal 12, he shared his pain at not being reunited with his daughter. “I couldn’t defend her. Where are you, Noa?” he said,
